this christmas

this christmas is... well sort of low key for us...no lights/Christmas tree/decorations - all because of our hilariously "impending" move (our house has been on the market for over a year now) and the fact we are driving down to south Florida to spend Christmas w/ our families...i have been a bit grumpy that this Christmas (i am still recovering from having my wisdom teeth removed) is "unusual" this year...but we got out the other night and drove around to see the lights...which was really nice and last night we turned off the tv and played legos as a family and listened to christmas music - it dawned on me as i was watching my boys trade legos between the towers in our legoland...that the christmas spirit is really about spending good old face-time with family - it is not the trees and decorations - those are really nice - don't get me wrong...it is just about putting it all aside to be w/ those you love the most...family

so here is to lots of time spent in our jammies with our families!!!
